Cessation of football in Dublin

Following the introduction of Level 3 COVID-19 restrictions in Dublin, the Football Association of Ireland announced the cessation of all Adult Amateur and Underage football matches in Dublin with the exception of elite football – namely the SSE Airtricity League, Women’s National League and all five underage National Leagues.

FAI Referee Registration Season 2020/2021

We understand that during these challenging times our daily routines have been disrupted. To facilitate our match officials and make the registration process as accessible as possible the National Referees Committee has extended the current registration period until the 31st of August 2020. This extension will give referees more time to complete the registration process and allow the Referees Department time to ensure each referee is registered for Season 2020 / 2021.

President’s Message

Fellow Members of Society,

I hope you are all continuing to keep safe and well during these difficult and strange times. As many of you know by now, council held an online briefing meeting on Saturday the 6th of June. I want to thank all those that made themselves available to participate in what proved to be an excellent and informative meeting with over 35 participants from all around the Country. I would particularly like to thank Gerard Perry and Ger McDermott of the FAI who gave us an update on the planned resumption of football in the country.
